Change Test Status

IMPORTANT:

Be aware before changing the Status of a test. It is your responsibility to prevent equipment which is unsafe, or, has failed any of the PAT Tests, from being used. It should be clearly labelled as having failed and be prevented from being put back into service. Also the Health and Safety officer or other responsible person on site should be made aware of the failed appliance at the time of test.

You may use this facility to Change the Status of an appliance from Pass to Fail - BUT you cannot change the Status of a test from a Fail to a Pass.

You can change the Pass Status of Test Results by right clicking on the Test Results Window in the top right pane of the Main Screen.

For example, below we are changing the Status of the Insulation Test from Pass to a Fail.

NOTE: You can only change the status of a test where there is data for that test. You cannot for example change the status of a test that has been Skipped. Note also that you cannot change the test readings from the PAT Tester themselves.

Manual Entry Screen

A new feature of SimplyPats Version 5 is the ability to enter tests manually, e.g. If you have a PAT Tester that doesnt have the ability to download data you can record the test results and then manually enter them into SimplyPats. Great care should be taken to correctly transcribe the data. See Also Manual Entry Screen
