Setting Up Your Company Information

The Your Settings screen allows you to setup your company details, principally your address and your company logo. To get this screen, select the "Your settings" option from the "Settings" menu. (Quick Key Press CTRL + Y) These details are printed on your test result reports, Print Results and, your Invoices Create Invoice

Next Invoice Number

You can use this field to set the "Next Invoice Number" to be used by SimplyPats when it creates an Invoice. Although SimplyPats will increment this number after you have printed your Invoice, care should be taken to make sure it is correct before sending an Invoice to your customer, especially if you use other programs to generate Invoices for your company.

Tax Type

In this box you can select whether you are charging VAT or GST (GST only applies to customers using SimplyPats in Australia or NewZealand)

You should only complete this field if you also have entered a VAT registration number (Or the euqivalent Australian / New Zealand Tax Number)

Tax Rate

Enter in here the rate of VAT or GST being charged. In the UK currently the rate of VAT is 20% on the type of work you are doing.

Saves the changes that you have made and closes the Your Settings screen.

Cancel

Abandons any changes you have made and closes the Your Settings screen.

Logo

Click on the "Logo" button and an Open Image File dialogue will be displayed, allowing you to pick an image file of your company logo. Use a scanner to scan your company logo unless you already have it saved as an image on disk. The image file must be saved as a .JPG, GIF, or .BMP file in order to be loaded into the SimplyPats program. The logo will appear on all your printed reports. Signature

Click on the "Sign" button and an Open Image File dialogue will be displayed, allowing you to pick an image file of your signature. Use a scanner to scan your signature. The image file must be saved as a .JPG, GIF, or .BMP file in order to be loaded into the SimplyPats program. The signature will appear on just the Certificate of Portable Appliance testing. When scanning your image, make sure you have no white space around the image.
