Setting Up Your PAT

Before you can download your test data from the PAT to SimplyPats, you must setup the PAT. It is a good idea to consult the manual that came with your tester first.

Download Options For Metrel Beta and Omega Testers

DESTINATION : PC
OUTPUT CONNECTION: RS232
BAUD RATE : Choose a baud rate from the list (the same baud rate will need to be selected within SimplyPats)

DOWNLOAD FORMAT : Metrel+

Download Options For Metrel AlphaPat Tester

DESTINATION : PC
BAUD RATE : Choose a baud rate from the list (the same baud rate will need to be selected within SimplyPats)

Download Options For Metrel SigmaPat Tester

DESTINATION : PC
OUTPUT CONNECTION: RS232
BAUD RATE : Choose a baud rate from the list (the same baud rate will need to be selected within SimplyPats)

DOWNLOAD FORMAT : Metrel+

Download Options For Seaward Supernova and Europa Testers

Before you can download your test data from the PAT to SimplyPats, you must setup the PAT. It is a good idea to look at page 37 of the manual that came with your Supernova and page 46 for the Europa first.

BAUD RATE : Choose a baud rate from the list (the same baud rate will need to be selected within SimplyPats)

DOWNLOAD FORMAT : SSS

Download Options For Seaward PrimeTest 300/350

Before you can download your test data from the PAT to SimplyPats, you must setup the PAT. Both the PrimeTest 300 & 350 will download via Bluetooth but only the PrimeTest 350 can connect to a PC via serial cable as well. It is a good idea to read the manual before attempting to download from your PrimeTest.

When downloading PrimeTest 350 using a serial cable:

FORMAT: ASCII
COMPUTER: RS232
BAUD: Choose a baud rate from the list (the same baud rate will need to be selected within SimplyPats)

When downloading PrimeTest 300 or 350 via Bluetooth:

Firstly please make sure that you have correctly paired your tester with the PC before continuing.

FORMAT: ASCII
COMPUTER: *Your PC/Laptop*
BAUD: Choose a baud rate from the list (the same baud rate will need to be selected within SimplyPats)

*** IMPORTANT ***

Only use the supplied serial cable to connect your Pat tester to your PC, the serial cable supplied with the Pat tester differs from most normal serial cables available in your local computer store. YOU MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR PAT TESTER OR COMPUTER IF YOU USE THE WRONG SERIAL CABLE.
