Select Multiple Tests

When on the Edit Data screen you can select mutliple appliances for the Bulk Change Selected, Print Selected, Save Selected or Email Selected Options by:

Pressing SHIFT and clicking the mouse or pressing SHIFT and one of the arrow keys (UP ARROW, DOWN ARROW) extends the selection from the previously selected row to the current row.

Pressing CTRL and clicking the mouse selects or deselects individual rows in the list.

Also if you have record selectors switch on (View Menu), clicking an dragging the mouse in left most area of a row will highlight a range.

Select All The Records

You can select all the appliances in the edit data screen by Right clicking the mouse button. You will then "Select All Records" option. By clicking this button all the appliances will be selected. To unselect all the appliances, simply click on one item. See Also Right Mouse Button Menu

Select All The Records In a Group

If you group your records you can select all the records in a particular group by highlighting a record in the group and Right clicking the mouse button. Then click the "Select All Records" option and you will be given the option to select only the records in the group or to select all the records in the file.

In the example below the records on the main SimplyPats screen are grouped by location.

When you click Right Click on an item within a group and select the "Select All Records" option the following prompt appears.

When you answer Yes to this question, just that group of records will be highlighted.

You will only be prompted to highlight a group if you are grouping your appliances. When no grouping is in effect, all the records throught the file will be highlighted.

To unselect all the appliances, simply click on one item. See Also Right Mouse Button Menu

Invert Selection

You can invert those appliances that you have selected (that is, those appliances selected will be de-selected and those unselected will be selected) by right clicking the mouse button in the edit data screen. From the menu that appears slected the "Invert Selection" menu option. See Also Right Mouse Button Menu
