Test Price And Repair Codes
Depending on which PAT Tester you use will determine where you enter the charge and repair codes. Entering charge and repair codes into the PAT Tester whilst testing in the field will allow you to quickly generate an invoice once you have downloaded. You can of course manually enter charge and repairs in the main data screen.
When entering the test price and repair codes you must separate them with a slash character / unless you are using a Metrel AlphaPat then you must separate them with a star character *.
Example: Notes - P/B5/C
AlphaPat Example: Notes - P*B5*C

REMEMBER - You will need to check whether you have told SimplyPats to read and use Charge and Repair codes when you download. You can check this in the PAT Settings Screen.
Shown below is
the method for entering Test Price and Repair Codes into the PAT. It is a good
idea to print out this topic and read it carefully.
