Print Preview

On the Print Preview screen you can see a preview of the reports prior to printing it out. You can change various options in this preview window, e.g. what size magnification you want to view the page, or which page you want to see if there are multiple pages. See Also Print Preview Toolbar

This screen is shown when you print any of the generic print outs. e.g.

Custom Reports

New to SimplyPats Version 5.3.0 and above, you can have a custom report created for you for any of the above reports. This might be useful if you wish to format one of the above reports in a different style or with your or your customers address details. For example you might want to give your customer a report of Missing or New Appliances created by the Import And Update screen

If a custom report is loaded, you will see the message displayed circled in red, as shown above. Please contact us should you require a custom report. Note! There may be a charge for this! Contact Technical Suport

Export

Once you have selected a report and it is visible in the preview area you can of course print it by clicking on the print button. However you can also export the report in the following formats by clicking on the relevant button:

Word - Microsoft Rich Text format (rtf)
Excel - Microsoft Excel format (xls)
HTML - Web page format (htm)
PDF - Adobe Acrobat format (pdf)
Text - Plain text format (txt)
Tiff - Tagged Image File format (tif)

Ok

Closes the Print Preview screen - nothing is printed.

Print

Prints the report, you are given the opportunity to set which printer you wish to use and the number of copies you want printed.

If you see red dotted lines on the print preview screen it shows that the margin settings are too large to allow the printing of the report on a single piece of A4 paper. Go to the "Settings" menu and from the "Print Settings" option, change the margin settings. See Also Print Setup
